BioShock Infinite is a game genre first person shooter ( FPS ) developed by Irrational Games and published worldwide by 2K Games for the PlayStation 3 , Xbox 360 and PC from the date of March 26, 2013 .
Game formerly known as Project Icarus title is not a continuation of the previous BioShock , but its features and gameplay is still the same as previous games . The role of the protagonist in this game is Booker DeWitt , a former Pinkerton agent simultaneously use characters that gamers in this game . Pinkerton is a private guard and detective agency located in the United States . Booker is sent to a floating city in the sky in 1912 in Colombia , to find a young woman named Elizabeth .
At the beginning of play , gamers will be shown in the scene where Booker was going to a mysterious island with a wooden boat in order to meet someone who is hired to find Elizabeth . However , on the island there is no one except the bodies of people who had been killed a long time at the Lighthouse .
Booker has a paper which contains the key to solving the puzzle that is in the Lighthouse . When she uses the keys after looking towards the lighthouse lamp room , a strange noise was heard . Booker did not understand what actually happened , but when the lights lighthouse was replaced by a strange chair the Booker got into the room and sat on it .
The rocket was carrying Booker to a city in the clouds called Eden . Once there , Booker saw no Zapelin blimp and a huge statue of an angel . But he landed in a place that is flooded by water . Then he found a flock of Pastor who is doing baptisms . When Booker closer to the leader of the Pastor , surprisingly Booker forcibly baptized , and then sink into the water .
